Painted Mid Century Credenza

Oh how I wish I would remember to take a bunch of “Before” pics before I start a piece! It never fails…I get so excited just thinking about the possibilities that I start before I get any pictures! This mid century credenza was used in my living room as a tv stand until I found my current Kent Coffey credenza and side table (more on those soon!). This is the only “before” pic I could find, unfortunately.

The credenza was in excellent shape. Very sturdy. Nice lines. Lots of storage space. I was pretty sure I wanted to try a two-toned effect on her. I looked long and hard before finally settling on Periwinkle blue and Ebony stain. This was my first time ever using periwinkle but I am so glad I gave it a shot because it turned out gorgeous!
